Romeo and Juliet Paper cut invitation card and Book. This was made for a campaign for the Polka Theatre, in which i designed a small paper cut exhibition, telling the story of Romeo and Juliet.
white frame cut outs were hand cut, each design involves development though hand illustrating, then planning how i could hold it together without chopping of pieces, followed by producing it which involved me perfectly hand drawing them on card and cutting them with a scalpel, minmal time on each frame 1hr, maximum time 3hours a apiece aprox.
Brief- Promote a shakspeare play in a diffrent way to engage people and get them to come to your local thearte (POLKA THEARTE)… So i did hand cut paper art work that produce shadows. Its a visual way to learn learn the story that engages audience though looking at the cut outs and then the shadows, kids like that stuff hahah!… Posters, Pop up Leaflet card, and book was made to acompany this as part of the promotion campaign.
